The Lavaman Waikoloa Triathlon bike is a 40 Kilometer trek on a portion of the Ironman World Champion Bike Course.

- A shirt or tri suit must be worn on bike and run!
- Bike frame number and helmet number must be used. ( Bib number is required for bike)
- Upon exciting the water from the swim there is 500 meter run to the transition area. This area will be carpeted and you will run through showers.
- There is no riding in transition area.
- When exiting transition - There will be a bike mount/dismount line
- NO AUDIO DEVICES ALLOWED (IPODS, MP3 PLAYERS, HEADPHONES, PHONES)
- Stay in Bike Lanes for entire course!
- Bike is open to traffic - with Police Control at intersections (Bikers will have right of way)
- Bike will exit out of Anaeho'omalu Bay Parking Lot and take a right on Waikoloa Beach Road.
- Proceed out of Waikoloa Beach Resort, taking a right(South) unto the Queen Kaahumanu bike lane shoulder
- Bike to far right of shoulder as safely possible.
- Passing on the left only.
- Crossing white lane into Queen Kaahumanu highway will result in DQ.
- At about the 19 Kilometer mark you will take a right on Kukio Nui Drive then a left on Aina Kaha Place and be then directed under the Queen Kaahumanu via a Tunnel.
- This portion of the course is on private land and opens for the race only. Please do not train in tunnel.
- Be aware of the downhill into the tunnel, when exiting the tunnel there will be water bottle exchange.
- After the tunnel you will have an up-hill and then taking a right(north) on the Queen Kaahumanu Highway
- When entering bike to Waikoloa Beach Resort - obey all Police Control and refer to map, bike in will be south bike lane.
- Bike to transition - dismount bike on line.
- Bike must be racked before you begin your run.
